Chunky ribbed snood, an archive piece from our earliest collection.

Made entirely by hand.

Due to the special characteristics of the yarn used in this collection, it is absolutely normal that these pieces pill quite a bit, especially in the beginning. Pilling can be explained by the fineness of the fiber. For pieces to pill, the fiber needs to be "slippery", which actually means that it is very smooth and soft. The structure of an entirely hand-knitted piece is also naturally looser than that of a woven fabric which is tighter and more dense, so hand-knitted pieces always pill a little more, but are also a lot softer.
With time, wear and the right care, pilling will slow and stop on its own.
