Few things are so personal and delicate at the same time, as defining color. Alive to light and shade, color is complex and manifests itself in infinite harmonies. It offers itself to our imagination. Each of our shades tells of an intimate story, a memory, or a dream. It is evocative and genuine in this way. Therefore, we believe that color is best not only defined, but felt and narrated.

At our color lab in Arequipa, Peru, we hand-dye and hand paint the yarn of our pieces. The colors are developed, hand in hand, with the most talented alchemists in what is a unique journey.

In hand dyeing and hand painting, the way color unfolds and develops is somewhat unpredictable. Looking patiently for the exact shade, time is indispensable. Finding just the right technique requires yearlong practice to perfect and a kind of sensibility only the hand and expert eye can lend.
