As one of the oldest traditions of Peru, hand knitting is a complex poetical expression.
At the center of knitbrary are the superb qualities of the natural fibers. Blending rare ancient hand craftsmanship skills and design, the yarns’ beautiful natural characteristics are patiently brought out.
Our pieces are knitted by artisan hands whose emotions, mood and personality leave a lasting imprint, and give each piece its unique character. Each knitter has their own unique pulse, which finally defines the end result.
Tiny variations are the sublime imperfections that mark the difference. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same, yet each one will bear the unmistakable, noble mark of the hand.
In our workshop in Arequipa, our second home, we work closely with the artisans who know our rigorously selected materials best, learning and growing together. We admire and respect their manual labor, and love every step of the process, always adapting ourselves to their required time.
